The Bible says that the virtuous woman is like rubies…
She is stronger than I am, so I have to have faith that everything is going to be okay.
I have to work on myself. I have to work on becoming a better man.
I have to prove not only to her parents that I am worthy, but I have to prove it to myself.
I have to allocate my time wisely, I have to work hard and diligent in everything I do, I have to save my hard-earned money, and I have to prepare for the future.
Although it hurts me not to be able to see her today, there is nothing better than the feeling of preparing for a better tomorrow.
Bit by bit, day-by-day, week-by-week, and month-by-month, I grow stronger.
We must put our faith not in ourselves but in the Lord, and trust that in His perfect timing we shall see her again.
In the meantime, find out as much as you can about her. Study her personality, look into her interests, become a researcher. Become flexible in your ways. Learn to appreciate her faults. Know that like you, she has also fallen short of the glory of G-d, so don’t be so hard on her as she has learned through the years not to be so hard on you.
Love her, respect her, give her the space she deserves. She is not ready yet. When the time is right her love will be revealed. Don’t be anxious about anything, but instead give thanks to the Lord that he placed her in your life. You are a blessed man. There are not many good women left in this world. Cherish the time apart, so that when you reunite you two will become One.
