28 Years Later, born, and still alive, and ready to fight.
Ready to die, ready to serve, but ready to live.
For my country, for my kin, and for the ones who gave all.
28 Years Later, and I am once again ready to put my hand up, take the oath and protect the country I love dearly.
I will be patient, for my time will come. I must be still; I must wait.
I make amends with the bridges I have burnt, I have confessed my sins to the ones I have hurt and I hope in the end, they will forgive me.
28 Years Later, and I am now ready for the great work ahead.
Whether in captivity or in liberty, I am ready to serve.
